Objectives:
- We will define and describe winter.
- We will discuss how winter affects people.
- We will explore how winter affects trees.
- We will explore how winter affects animals.
- We will create a poem about winter.
- We will replicate �Winter Cottonwoods� by Georgia O�Keeffe.
- We will define and identify products that come from trees.
- We will celebrate the importance of trees by having a paper party.
We will rotate TUB lessons with the other kindergarten teachers to learn about:
- Winter leisure activities
- Winter sports
- Hibernation
- Helping animals in the winter time
