During this unit, we will concentrate on the following concepts:
- We will define a main street
We will create a bulletin board scene of a main street
- We will define and identify wants
Wants are the things people would like to have
- We will define and identify needs
Needs are what people require in order to live
- We will define goods and services
People work to make goods and provide services
- We will identify ways people pay for goods
- We will use money to purchase goods from the class store to decorate holiday cards
- We will identify ways we can earn money
- We will discuss the benefits of saving
- We will work as a production company to assemble and create a winter craft
