How to be a Star Unit
The first unit in kindergarten is called "How to Be a Star". In this unit, your child will learn the rules, behaviors, and procedures that promote success in school. During this unit, we will focus on the following concepts:
- People who go to school to learn are called students.
- Kindergarten students are members of a class.
- Kindergarten students know the reasons for rules and follow school, classroom, playground, and bus safety rules.
- Kindergarten students know what a procedure is and the benefits procedures bring.
- Kindergarten students know how to behave like a KINDERGARTEN STAR!
