There are many rumours about bulletin boards. Some can be true and some can be false. This is my "essay" took from the Manson BBS, of which I am a member; and have been, for a number of years.

As I was flicking through it, one day, I came accross a message that seemed to be of deep context. Indeed, it did strike me, because I had to go through a few pages of pointless, irrelevant posts. So this to me, was a Godsend. So I decided to reply to it. The title was "Brian Warner Is Human, Have You All Forgot This?"

I believe that Manson is a genious in his own right. The same goes for all the members and past members. Without them, Manson the band, wouldn't be anywhere close to where they are today.

People laugh at me for liking Daisy Bekowitz. While he was in Manson, he may have "sucked", but listening to demos of his own bands, you can see the dedication and energy he puts into it.

Marilyn Manson is always going to be judged in one way or another. You can't stop that and neither can I. Manson is made to be hated and loved. He has two split personalities. The Marilyn Manson personality, which is him playing the big "dirty rock star" and the other, Brian Warner, a nobody and a social delinquent.

We all can build ourselves on Manson, because we have all been left out of things. We were all nobodies, in one way or another. Brian Warner got the courage to start a band. Many of us want a band or are in a band. Manson got lucky. He got fame, the record deals, the glamorous girlfriends, the awards; and he also got all the crap that comes from being a big rock star. You know, the drug habits, the scars, the not being able to walk down the road without being pestered for autographs or photos. We would all love to be in the limelight for a while, but would we like it all the time? Having people scream out your name, saying "I want you to have my baby!" It's not something that you can just stop automatically.

I'm not saying that being Marilyn Manson is all doom and gloom, I'm just a logical person and I look at both sides of the coin. I am not biased. But I felt like I needed to add my own comment to that post.

I think people who write the lame comments on the BBS's, are the people that are here today and gone tomorrow. The "fashion victims". You know the type. The ones that say they like a band or something, just to either get attention or to piss people off, because they think it is funny. I like to have intellectual conversations, but it is becoming increasingly hard to find such enthralling activities on the Manson BBS, or any BBS for that matter.

I remember a while ago on the Manson BBS, there were posts on the Teletubbies. I found that not only pathetic, but also very highly irrevelant. I know it was the Manson BBS, so it should have a Manson content. Sometimes, Manson reaches out to different things, so I do see relevance sometimes. But to the Teletubbies? I've never heard Manson mention them or the Teletubbies mention him. So I'm kinda stuck here. Call me old fashioned or something, but I like my BBS's to be in the right fields of context. I mean you might as well come on a BBS and say "Hey, I'm a blond haired bimbo and I can't tell my ass from my brain." I'm not saying people who are blond haired are bimbos, but I think you know who I'm talking about. The popular pieces of shit. The "disposable teens" if you like.

Those are the people whom we hate to have to deal with. They come on the BBS's and pretend to be fans and it pisses us all off. It's simply not fair. They spoil all the fun for all of us. And unfurtunately, we all get tarred with the same brush.

Yeah, life's a bitch and then you die.
