The
Journey of a Snowflake
By Matt
Hello. I’m Matt the snowflake.
I’m high up in the clouds right now.
I’m going to fall today around noon somewhere in New York.
Right now it is 11:59 A.M.
Just one more minute till I fall.
Whoosh!!!
It’s twelve o’ clock, here I go.
Right now I’m above Yankee Stadium. When I first saw Yankee Stadium, I knew
for sure I was in New York City.
Then, the winds started to pickup and it blew me to Madison Square
Garden where there was a basketball game going on. I think it was the Pacers
vs. the Knicks.
If I remember correctly, the Knicks were beating the Pacers 80-78 with
10 seconds left in the 4th quarter.
I had to avoid one of those crazy double-decker sightseeing buses that
give tours around New York City.
The
winds were starting to pickup again and the wind blew me over to White Plains
right near the Westchester Mall.
Everyone was in such a hurry to buy presents for the holidays.
It’s so crazy that about twenty cars that were speeding to find
parking spaces almost hit me.
Now,
the winds have stopped and the sun is starting to come out.
It’s melted me into a puddle and then evaporated me. Until next
time…
