The
Journey of a Snow Flake

It
was a regular day with regular snow in Boston, Mass. The people there don’t
really get exited when it snows because it had snowed practically every day!!!
There was one snowflake that was out of there ordinary - me. I am a large
snowflake that has gray in it. I don’t have any pollution. I can go
whereever I want because I can travel because the edge of my body can move
like the flaps on a plane. The tail of my body can turn left and right like
the rudder of a plane.
One day, I was calmly drifting down from the cloudy Boston sky and suddenly I
had the urge to go down south maybe Florida. I can finally see what it is like
because I heard that it is cold enough for me to survive. So, I started down
south. I saw tons of advertisements along the way, so I stopped in to see what
all of the commotion was all about. The nerve of those people to put false
advertisements up! All there was was a rest room and Mickey D’s. I am
finally in Florida and I realized that I forgot how to get to Disney.
I
finally arrive at Disney and I go in to a ride. I see that I am no longer in
Disney. It looks like I am back in time because all I see are farmers who are
in an old shack. The people didn’t move much, but when they did, there was
this grinding noise. The next time the wind picks up, I go to a house that
looks like it is from the 70’s. The T.V. looks like that, too. The stove
looks like that and even the kids rooms look like that. I then go to the next
place and there are computers and other technological things. The people
don’t have to do anything because there is a main computer that does
everything for them. I finally realize that I am in a ride and I go on to
persons shoulder and she brushes my off and says dandruff.
After
that, there was a great amount of wind, so I couldn’t control myself and was
blown up North to North Carolina where I was mixed in the snow into the
driveway of a person who is away for the winter, but had the plow come anyway.
Late at night, I heard a great loud noise like thunder, but the sky was clear
and I didn’t see any type of precipitation, well, none other than me. I
looked up and I saw THE SNOW PLOW. I was very nervous that it was going
to plow me and it did, right on to the street and I melted into water. I later
turned into ice and when the season of spring came, I melted into water and
flowed into the river that leads in to the ocean.
