TITLE: Save The Rainforest!

GRADE: First

LENGTH: 90 minutes (30, 60 minutes)

CONCEPT: Although it is home to many creatures and is the source of certain products we use, the rainforest is in danger. It needs to be protected and taken care of.

RATIONALE: The students now know about the inhabitants and products of the rainforest. Finding out that they are being destroyed and are in danger of extinction serves to make a big impact. This is an informative lesson that will show the students that they already know how to protect and help save the rainforest.
