Brian’s Winter was an O.K. book. I didn’t really like it. It only talked about one character and was about one thing: how a boy survives in the woods. It gets a little boring after a while as you keep reading the same thing over and over again. I like books with adventure, not only survival. It was also distasteful in how detailed it was. It described how the animals were killed and how they died. I understand that it was survival of the fittest, but it was not to my liking.
