1. Volunteering is a great way to spend quality time with your familiy! Scared that your children will one day lock themselves in their room and deny you any contact? Start them off with volunteer activities at an early age! Make it a family event, and it will become a beacon that will grow and shed light not only your family but your community as well. |

2. It's Always an Option! Can't decide what movie to go see or what new restaurant to try with your family? Why not try deciding what neighbor needs a helping hand with their yard, or what nursing home could use a smile? You can spend a with your children, meeting new people, and helping out those who couldn't otherwise help themselves! |

3. Way to Go! You always want your kids to be the ones who make a difference, so why not help them out? If you show them that adults appreciate the work that they do, not only will you serve your community, you will serve yourself (the volunteer!) as well! |

4. Hello Neighbors! Are you new in the neighborhood?? Then what better way to meet and make new friends for your spouse and children than by hosting a neighborhood volunteer event! Find out which of your neighbors need help with yardwork, volunteer to babysit the local kids once a month, or just volunteer to clean up the local park! You'll meet people and earn their respect as well! |
