2. Deja Vu!! It is a little known fact that when a person volunteers as a teenager, they are more likely to repeat this kind action as an adult! Isn't it awesome to know that our teenagers truly CAN make this world a better place?!
3. Broaden those Horizons!! Through random volunteerism, you could figure out what the future holds for you! By volunteering at different events and with different organizations you could possibly find your future career! Consider volunteerism to be your own personal fortune teller... who knows what the future holds??
4. Open Doors!! Who knew that volunteerism could be so beneficial? Not only will you meet adults who will be able to open doors to your future plans, but you will also be able to make new friends! Open the doors to new cultures and new experiences by volunteering in a different neighborhood or state. You will make lifelong friends... I know I have!
5. Make the Difference!! I am a firm believer in the fact that we can make a difference in the future! If we do as Titus 3:14 says, and "Devote ourselfs to doing what is good," I truly believe that we will become better people. World Peace may be possible and attainable, but we'll never know until we try! What better place to start than the "land of the free, home of the brave???" If we respond to acts of evil with acts of kindness, we will set the example for other countries.. so let's get out there and show them what we teenagers are made of! Someday we will be the leaders of America.. so LETS GET STARTED!!
