The effect of dealing two cards at the second round can be easily seen in the following chart, which compares the percentage chances of improving a pair, or an ideal straight or flush holding at the second round in the three major games -7-stud, holdem and omaha - and five-card stud, alligator stud and mississippi. The figures for all stud games are based on there being no required cards exposed in other hands in an eight handed game.
