Let's go together
Many are called but few are chosen the scriptures says in Mathew 22:14.
What a privilege to be chosen out of a short list of those who have been called. I remember applying for a job as a chauffeur driving S+C class Mercedes, top of the range Volvo etc; and from 150 applicants called for interview, I was chosen for the job. Fantastic. But this calling from God is by far the greatest. It is to work together for good to them that love God, and are called according to his purpose. Can't fault it. On this first trip, there are nine of us. Most had been before, but this was my first, working and living with people I'd never met, going along with, sharing with, learning about, another way of life. The team leader tells us all, for the next three weeks you will be on the mission field, this is your training ground straight in at the deep end. The Lord gave this word to my wife for me:-

FOR A GREAT DOOR AND EFFECTUAL IS OPENED UNTO ME AND THERE ARE MANY ADVERSARIES (1 Corinthians 16:9). Believe it or not and sad to say, that many who were opposed to this work came from within the church. There, within the body of believers were the many adversaries. Can you credit that? We discerned that the ones who did oppose, were the very ones God had spoken to at some time, but refused  to bend the knee, exactly like the report in Mathew 21:28. This is what Jesus said. "Son, go work in my vinyard". You can read the rest and see what the consequences were for being disobedient.  Going together is most important, it's better that way. Some people said, we're behind you all the way in what you are doing. And they were... BEHIND US!!!!. they certainly were not with us, but behind us. We don't need that. Let us go together  with Gods' blessings, Amen.   Since 1991, Diana and i have been accompanied by more than 50 people in our travels and in  Ministry of the holy Spirit.  Some have only come along with us as observers for the one-off trip, others have helped us to continue with support especially with driving.  Some trips have been over 7,000 miles, and to have 2, 3 or 4 drivers has been a tremendous help.   Not all could drive, but all could help in more ways than one.  We are grateful to every one...
The music now playing is "How deep the Fathers' Love for Us"

Gentle arrangement played by John Whittle.   Thank you Lord.
How deep the Fathers' Love for us,
How vast beyond all measure...
That He should give His only Son,
To make a wretch His treasure.
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away.
As wounds which mar the Chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory.
Prayer meeting now on in the:-
