Where On Earth Are You?

As I put the finishing touches to this we are in Auckland, New Zealand, just about to leave for Australia and various other places in the world, including Japan, Italy, England, Finland, Germany, and the US. Since December 1996, we have been living in Wanaka, a very small town in the south of New Zealand, which is by far the most beautiful place we have ever seen. Amy is nearly 2 and Jonathan is nearly 4. It's a privilege and pleasure to live with them both and to get to know them better as the days go by. You'll love them when you meet them, too!

How are we? Fine, but that doesn't tell you a lot, does it. We have been ironing the very last of the wrinkles out of "Destination 2000" (Unveiled at Last) by Bob Sjogren. It has been a LOT of work and has taken years, but we are really finally ready to send it to the printers. Once this book is done then we can get on with some other things. Namely ...

More books in Japanese, this time aimed at helping people who know nothing or very little about God to come to know Him and to live successful lives with Him. We will write some material and we will translate other material. By the time the next letter is ready to be sent we will be able to tell you more. Of course we are also now free to get on with music, which we have been wanting to do for a long time! What can you believe God with us for? How about the following:

* High-speed tape copier ... We have hundreds of excellent tapes and books catalogued and stored in Wanaka. We want to set Mum up with a tape copier so we can e-mail her and say for example, "please send tape xxxx to Roger in Italy." We will have the list available on our web page soon so look out for it.

* Bilingual secretary (English/Japanese) ... for while we are in Italy. We want to work with other people of like mind who can translate into and write Japanese well so we can get more things done more quickly. The whole "book" process is simple-it just takes time if we have to do e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

* Excellent Accommodation and vehicles/transportation ... for the different countries we will be in.

* Funds to publish D2000 We have done our part in translating D2000 and getting it ready to be printed, God has asked someone to sell the book throughout Japan (more on him later), and so there is someone, somewhere that God has asked to pay for it to be printed. We're NOT asking YOU for money for this. We have asked God-our source-already and so please agree with us for it to come in.
