The Society of Hispanic Historical and Ancestral Research (SHHAR) mission has been to inform, encourage research, assist in networking, share current events as related to history, and most importantly to stress the global history and connections one with another.
In response to the monumental amount of genealogical and historical information on the Internet, SHHAR's program of activities will change dramatically. Membership dues will be dropped and SHHAR will be funded by individual and corporate donations.
Somos Primos, the current quarterly publication will now be available on the Internet on a monthly basis and possibly as a yearly publication.

A SHHAR member will be available to assist in research on the last Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Orange Family History Center.
Two meetings during the year will be all-day mini-conferences.
Program plans consist of morning speakers, afternoon workshops, and networking.
