Revelation CHAPTER 12
The Woman and the Dragon. 12:1 * A great sign appeared in the sky, a
woman* clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head
a crown of twelve stars. 12:2 She was with child and wailed aloud in pain
as she labored to give birth.* 12:3 Then another sign appeared in the sky;
it was a huge red dragon, * with seven heads and ten horns, and on its
heads were seven diadems. 12:4 Its tail swept away a third of the stars
in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before
the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.
12:5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations
with an iron rod. * Her child was caught up to God and his throne. 12:6
The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by
God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty
days.* 12:7
The Virgin Mary seems to be mentioned here. She has already appeared
as the Women clothed with the sun crowned with stars. I know personally
of a 5 year old boy who had a near-death experience during surgery who
mentioned going to a throne to meet Jesus and A very beutiful Lady
with 12 blue lights on her crown....Out of the mouth of babes!
If this is not Mary, who then?

1 Peter:4
4:1 * Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves
also with the same attitude (for whoever suffers in the flesh has broken
with sin), 4:2 so as not to spend what remains of one's life in the flesh
on human desires, but on the will of God. 4:3 For the time that has passed
is sufficient for doing what the Gentiles like to do: living in debauchery,
evil desires, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and wanton idolatry. 4:4
They are surprised that you do not plunge into the same swamp of profligacy,
and they vilify you; 4:5 but they will give an account to him who stands
ready to judge the living and the dead. 4:6 For this is why the gospel
was preached even to the dead * that, though condemned in the flesh in
human estimation, they might live in the spirit in the estimation of God.

2 Peter 2
2:1 * There were also false prophets among the people, just as there
will be false teachers among you, who will introduce destructive heresies
and even deny the Master who ransomed them, bringing swift destruction
on themselves. 2:2 Many will follow their licentious ways, and because
of them the way of truth will be reviled. 2:3 In their greed they will
exploit you with fabrications, but from of old their condemnation has not
been idle and their destruction does not sleep.
Lessons from the Past. 2:4 * * For if God did not spare the angels when
they sinned, but condemned them to the chains of Tartarus and handed them
over to be kept for judgment; 2:5 * and if he did not spare the ancient
world, even though he preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, together
with seven others, when he brought a flood upon the godless world; 2:6
and if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (to destruction),
reducing them to ashes, making them an example for the godless (people)
of what is coming; 2:7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man oppressed
by the licentious conduct of unprincipled people 2:8 (for day after day
that righteous man living among them was tormented in his righteous soul
at the lawless deeds that he saw and heard), 2:9 then the Lord knows how
to rescue the devout from trial and to keep the unrighteous under punishment
for the day of judgment, 2:10 * and especially those who follow the flesh
with its depraved desire and show contempt for lordship.

Beware of false teachers |
2 Peter 3
3:1 * This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you; through
them by way of reminder I am trying to stir up your sincere disposition,
3:2 to recall the words previously spoken by the holy prophets and the
commandment of the Lord and savior through your apostles. 3:3 Know this
first of all, that in the last days scoffers * will come (to) scoff, living
according to their own desires 3:4 and saying, "Where is the promise
of his coming? * From the time when our ancestors fell asleep, everything
has remained as it was from the beginning of creation." 3:5 They deliberately
ignore the fact that the heavens existed of old and earth was formed out
of water and through water * by the word of God; 3:6 through these the
world that then existed was destroyed, deluged with water.* 3:7 The present
heavens and earth have been reserved by the same word for fire, kept for
the day of judgment and of destruction of the godless. 3:8 * * But do not
ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand
years and a thousand years like one day. 3:9 The Lord does not delay his
promise, as some regard "delay," but he is patient with you,
not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, * and then the heavens
will pass away with a mighty roar and the elements will be dissolved by
fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be found out.
|
Fire will test the earth in the end.
Is this a comet, nulear war, volcanos, polar shift with massive continental
drift or earth reshaping? Whatever there sure seems to be massive destruction.

1 John 3:2
3:1 * See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called
the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know
us is that it did not know him. 3:2 Beloved, we are God's children now;
what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is
revealed * we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3:3 Everyone
who has this hope based on him makes himself pure, as he is pure.
|
We will be here to meet him, the Christians have not been raptured. |
1 Peter 3:14
3:14 But even if you should suffer because of righteousness, blessed
are you. Do not be afraid or terrified with fear of them, 3:15 but sanctify
Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give an explanation to
anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope, 3:16 but do it with gentleness
and reverence, keeping your conscience clear, so that, when you are maligned,
those who defame your good conduct in Christ may themselves be put to shame.
3:17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that be the will of
God, than for doing evil. 3:18 For Christ also suffered * for sins once,
the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he might lead you to
God. Put to death in the flesh, he was brought to life in the spirit.

We are still here and suffering, |
2 peter 3:14
3:14 Therefore, beloved, since you await these things, be eager to be
found without spot or blemish before him, at peace.

Rev 8
8:3 Another angel came and stood at the altar, * holding a gold censer.
He was given a great quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers
of all the holy ones, on the gold altar that was before the throne. 8:4
The smoke of the incense along with the prayers of the holy ones went up
before God from the hand of the angel. 8:5 Then the angel took the censer,
filled it with burning coals from the altar, and hurled it down to the
earth. There were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and
an earthquake.

We go through tribulation |
2: Thes.
Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels, 1:8 in blazing fire,
inflicting punishment on those who do not acknowledge God and on those
who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 1:9 These will pay the penalty
of eternal ruin, separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory
of his power, 1:10 when he comes to be glorified among his holy ones *
and to be marveled at on that day among all who have believed, for our
testimony to you was believed.
Prayer. 1:11 To this end, we always pray for you, that our God may make
you worthy of his calling and powerfully bring to fulfillment every good
purpose and every effort of faith, 1:12 * that the name of our Lord Jesus
may be glorified in you, and you in him, in accord with the grace of our
God and Lord Jesus Christ.
|
We are here to greet him, if this happens after the truibulation then
we had to go through the tribulation in order to be here to greet Christ
in His glory. |
Mathew:
The Coming of the Son of Man.
24:29 * "Immediately after the tribulation of those days,
the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the
stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
|
Three days of darkness occurs in the last 3 days before Christ comes. |
Mathew:
24:30 And then the sign of the Son of Man * will appear in heaven, and
all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man
coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 24:31 And
he will send out his angels * with a trumpet blast, and they will gather
his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
|
All evil will be removed from earth (rapture) then... Christ returns
to greet the Christians. |
Mathew:
The Lesson of the Fig Tree. 24:32 * "Learn a lesson from the fig
tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that
summer is near. 24:33 In the same way, when you see all these things, know
that he is near, at the gates. 24:34 Amen, I say to you, this generation
* will not pass away until all these things have taken place. 24:35 Heaven
and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Isreal becomes a nation all 12 tribes return. |
Mathew:
The Great Tribulation. 24:15 * "When you see the desolating abomination*
spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place (let the
reader understand), 24:16 then those in Judea must flee * to the mountains,
24:17 * a person on the housetop must not go down to get things out of
his house, 24:18 a person in the field must not return to get his cloak.
24:19 Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days. 24:20 *
Pray that your flight not be in winter or on the sabbath, 24:21 * for at
that time there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the
beginning of the world until now, nor ever will be.

Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with everlasting good
news* to announce to those who dwell on earth, to every nation, tribe,

him glory, for his time has come to sit in judgment. Worship him who made
heaven and earth and sea and springs of water."

fire, and cried out in a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle,
"Use your sharp sickle and cut the clusters from the earth's vines,
for its grapes are ripe." 14:19 So the angel swung his sickle over
the earth and cut the earth's vintage. He threw it into the great wine
press of God's fury. 14:20 The wine press was trodden outside the city
and blood poured out of the wine press to the height of a horse's bridle
for two hundred miles.*

18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "Depart from her,
* my people, so as not to take part in her sins and receive a share in
her plagues,
18:5 for her sins are piled up to the sky, and God remembers her crimes.
18:6 Pay her back as she has paid others. Pay her back double for her
deeds. Into her cup pour double what she poured.
18:7 To the measure of her boasting and wantonness repay her in torment
and grief; for she said to herself, 'I sit enthroned as queen; I am no
widow, and I will never know grief.'
18:8 Therefore, her plagues will come in one day, pestilence, grief,
and famine; she will be consumed by fire. For mighty is the Lord God who
judges her."
18:9 The kings of the earth who had intercourse with her in their wantonness
will weep and mourn over her when they see the smoke of her pyre. 18:10
They will keep their distance for fear of the torment inflicted on her,
