| I received the Bronze Medal of Honor in 1999. I worked on Girls Only and finished it in a year, becoming the first Girls Only Graduate from my Church. I receieved the Silver Medal of Honor in 2000 and I became the first Silver Medalist from my Church, as well as in the State of Louisiana. I got permission to go back and work on Friends so I could receive the Gold Medal of Honor and I received this Honor in 2001. I was also the first Gold Medalist from my Church as well as the first in the State of Louisiana. I have pictures from all the above events in the photo album! Go check them out!! I became a Co-Sponsor of Prims after I graduated High School and I am now Head Sponsor of our Stars Class. I am also the Missionettes Coordinator at my Church! Our Coordinator of 15 years moved away in July of 2002 and I was blessed with this wonderful Ministry! I also crowned my very first Honor Star in October of 2002! It was a very exciting time!! :) I love all of my girls and I love Missionettes! I hope you enjoy this site and gain some insight into this wonderful program! | Hi! My name is Karen and I am 22 years old! I am from Lake Charles, Louisiana and I attend Glad Tidings Assembly of God. I think Missionettes is a wonderful program and is an awesome way to reach girls!! I have been involved in the Missionettes program my entire life. I started out in Rainbows when I was four years old. I was crowned Honor Star in 1995. After I was crowned, I decided to stay in Missionettes and become a Junior Sponsor. I started the Y's program (all by myself), but before I could get too much involved, the program changed over once again, and what was known as Y's was changed to Girls Only. |
