Miami fights dirty in the ring. He knows every trick in the book and wrote chapters of it himself. He will however overshowboat which causes him to lose focus in matches. SHowboating however is Miami's way of showing the women what he is made of . A fun-loving guy when things go his way but once the pressure is on Miami becomes irrational and also depressive.
Strengths
- Very Perusasive - This has enabled Miami to get to the top of whatever stable he has been a part of. He will often put things in such a way that if he's right he's god and if he's not then whoever is involved in the f-ck-up bar Miami is blamed.
- Logical - Miami fights in a very logical and intelligent manner. If his opponent has a weak arm then he will attack it and wear it down. He will also slowly build up momentum thus making his moves harder to reverse. He uses moves that work on a single body part during the match instead of a kneebreaker here, an arm drag there etc.
- Resilient - Although not strong Miami does have great stamina and can take immense levels of pain before he is put away . This stems from the strict training he received when he first arrived at the IWA and later on in his travels in Japan
Weaknesses
- Overly Cocky - If in a match it comes down to 'pose for the females' or 'go for the pin' then Miami goes for the posing everytime. This leads to his downfall though because he often loses more momentum than he can regain and this has in the past led to defeats.
- Lack of Strength - Miami isn't a power wrestler , he doesn't make out to be. Some of his moves do require a good level of power and this often means that these kinds of moves are only hit in desperation
- Short Attention Span - The Launcher really does get bored easily , he likes a challenge and if he doesn't one he tends not only to showboat but show total disdain to the ideals of wrestling. Of course on his website he will never have a short attention span because then his few fans w...

Biographical Information

|
Rob Blake was born into a wrestling family in Miami. His father was a wrestler in the indys who always dreamed of making it big. Rob Blake's father was a guy who always happened to make the wrong career choices and this affected the level of success that he achieved. Rob Blake attended his father's wrestling events at an early age and quickly grew up around wrestling and understanding the ins and outs of the business. Rob Blake's mother worked as a secretary for a television company but always put her family first.
His father encouraged, to his mother's dismay, Rob to take an interest in wrestling. He would attend his father's matches watching dilligently for any pointers or tips and tricks he could find out and learn. At school, Blake took an active interest in amateur wrestling and made the Florida state championships, this helped his technical side of wrestling out. He turned 16 and filled in for a wrestler who had no-showed for a match against his father a day after his 16th birthday. He received a scholarship to Yale and struggled academically but surpassed most people's expectations with his wrestling prowess, he was offered the chance to work full time at the NWP(National Wrestling Promotion) alongside his father who would be able to help him along, Rob accepted and dropped out of University.
He quickly showed what he was capable of and was given the NWP's secondary belt, the Television title. He was offered the chance to work for Victor Quinones IWA in Japan and to learn from the Luchadores. He jumped at the chance and was released from the NWP under the agreement he would return after a month and lose the belt honourably to the wrestler of their choice. He went off to the land of the rising sun and was quickly seen not as a gaijin, but as an honourary 'adopted-japanese' wrestler. He returned home and did the J.O.B as promised and left the fed for Mexico at the start of 1999. He learned some luchadore style moves and stayed there. He did some more tours of Japan and went to face a AGPW (All-Gaijin Professional Wrestling) champion and flew his family over unfortunately he broke kayfabe beforehand when he was seen with one of the faces and so the match changed so that Jumbo Jijitsu won and Miami was left without a job and was blacklsited. This meant he couldn't fulfill the one common goal both he and his father shared which was for Rob to become a respected even legendary pueroescu. This setback put a wedge between the family and Miami and this has never healed. Miami fights to try to regain some respect and get another shot in Japan. Miami at this point thought his career was over until one fateful day in October of 1999 he received an offer from S.E.W (Super Extreme Wrestling).
