“So, how does it feel to be a rich?” Ron asked well naturedly as he looked at his best friend, not a hint of envy on his angular face. After the reading, everyone had reconvened at 12 Grimmuld place.
“It’s alright…the baby will be well taken care of…I’m sorry, I didn’t tell you two, we had planned…” Mione started but Harry interrupted
“It’s ok…We understand…Are you ok?” Harry asked as he looked at his flushed faced friend with shadows beneath her eyes as if she hadn’t slept in days.
“Just tired, and sick most of the time…” Mione said with a soft sigh..
“When was the date again?” Ginny asked.
“January 20th the doctor estimated, that sounded right to me…give or take two weeks. I think it’s going to happen sooner.” Mione said softly.
“Hermione, Albus would like to see you and your parent’s. He in the second floor lounge.” Remus said as he came up to the four teens.
“Ok, can you tell my Mum and Dad” Mione asked again in that same quiet voice.
“Sure” Remus said as he looked at the young woman, the mask of calm falling as he looked at the girl his best friend had left behind.
The house on a whole had been completely redone, curtsey of Albus. The once darkened halls were brighter, the old rugs and dull floor gleamed brightly, the house-elf heads and portraits of the Black family gone and Kreature had killed himself rather suddenly after Sirius death. Much to Harry’s delight and Mione wasn’t saying much on that matter as well. The second floor drawling room was much like the first, but now resembled an office of sorts. Mione walked in and took the seat in between her parents. Dr. Granger’s were already sitting there waiting.
“Thank you for this meeting, I had planned on doing this earlier but have been a bit pressed for time. Therefore, I’m going to get straight to the point. I’ve been wanting to talk to you about your training and other things concerning your education and well being and now it’s at a critical point. With you expecting a child and Voldemort being out in the open, this only adds to the importance of this matter and events that will ultimately affect your training, Miss Granger. As required by the governors of the school, your parents have to be informed till the age of 17 as to what activities you are involved in, classes you take, clubs…” Albus paused his lips twitching just a bit before going on to say “ you are involved with, scores on exams and anything relevant to your educations as I see fit, I’m assuming you knew all this?” Albus asked kindly as he looked at her, his blues eyes twinkling.
“Yes, Headmaster, In Hogwarts a History that’s how I discovered I would still be able to go to school, while pregnant, take maternity leave and still come back, with little time missed…Is there something in my training that will hinder this?” Mione asked with a faint hint of fear in her voice.
“Academically speaking no, but as you are one… how shall I say… in the limelight, physical training would be to your advantage as well. Though physical training isn’t emphasized in school, it always is one of the better advantages to have over unforeseeable events. However adjustments will be made for now, and we build on the skill you possess in immeasurable amounts.” Albus said sincerely with a nod of his head, indicating the meet was finished. Mione however was a bit confused, and had a sinking suspicion that even under the pretense of pregnancy that this “meeting” was not what the headmaster really wanted to talk about as were most of the talks, (which were considerable), of the past 5 years.
“That sounds fine headmaster, may I be excused?” Mione said lightly, her eyes gazing at the headmaster in clear intent. Almost, like she was trying to see into his mind.
“Yes, of course my dear” Albus said smoothly as he looked at the girl, his bright blues showing nothing. With a nod of her head, she stood up and walked briskly out of the room.
She stopped at the top of the steps and thought about turning back. Shaking her head, she walked down the three flights of steps and back into the kitchen. She walked to the buffet table filled with food and starting putting a little of everything on her plate, before turning and plopping herself down on the bench between Ginny and Harry and started eating.
“Is everything alright?” Harry asked as he looked at his flushed faced friend, whom was gripping her fork so tight her knuckles were white.
“Do you think normal exist…I question that on a daily basis…whether or not there really is such a thing and if so, can life ever be normal. When I think about it, I think I go to school. I learn, and then I take what I learn and use it for future jobs…No mysteries involved, no loss of loved ones, nothing out of the ordinary, just simple…plain…life. I think I can’t comprehend what normal is; a figment of my imagination. I use to go to church before I started Hogwarts. I use to pray for simple things, my parents, my family, school that I would do well, Health. Do you know what I pray for now…that I live to see tomorrow, the people I love don’t die before my eyes, and I pray for normalcy…” Mione finished softly, her brown eyes bleak with worry. The door swung open and Katrina, Aaron and Albus walked in.
“Angel did you want your friends to come over now or wait until Saturday?” Aaron asked as he put a hand on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze.
“Now, if that’s alright?” Mione asked as she looked at the headmaster.
“Yes, the underage restrictions have been sanctioned at this time, and Auror’s will be on guard 24/7. Harry if you accompany me. We’ll go back to your Aunt and get you things. We’ll meet back at your house in 1 hour.” Albus stated calmly as he Looked at the Granger’s
The four friends said their good-byes before going off in their separate directions. All three with one thing on their minds…would their favorite optimistic friend ever be the same and how were they going to help.

The three men landed with a thud, but managed to stay upright and not tumble on the immaculate floor.
“Ok, Harry I’ll help you pack…come on.” Remus said as he
walked threw the kitchen door in the down the hall, wand drawn, brown eyes
alert. Following his lead Harry pulled out his wand as well. The house was
eerily quiet, which for
“STOP, LEAVE HER ALONE…”
“Albus he’s breathing, we got to get him to St. Mungo’s immediately. Was the rest of the house clear…I can’t believe they sent so few.” Remus said in a rush as he put an arm around his cousin’s shoulder and tried to help him the unconscious boy into a sitting position.
“Well, I guess there’s two of us now, Thank you, Headmaster, Aunt Petunia, are you alright?” Harry asked gently as he put his arm around her shaking shoulders.
“He’s alive, oh thank god, thank you, thank you…” Petunia mumbled to Albus as she looked at him, hugged Harry hard, kissed him on the cheek, before crawling over to her son, and helping Remus lift him up.
“Harry take your Aunt and Cousin to St. Mungo’s at once, Remus get everyone to the Weasley and Granger Residences at once, Harry show your Aunt how use the portkey and both of you hold on to Dudley. I must leave. Don’t leave the Hospital, no matter what happens or what you hear, don’t leave…” Albus said emphatically as he touched his wand to a gold bracelet before handing it to Harry and with a swish of their cloaks Albus and Remus dissapperated with soft cracks.
“Aunt Petunia put one finger on this and holds on to

The three landed with a thud. The noise in the waiting room was deafening. Harry barely noticed as he lead his Aunt and unconscious cousin to empty chairs and ran to the receptionist desk, pushing people out of the way. In a loud voice Harry said to the harassed looking woman.
“MY COUSIN WAS HIT WITH THE AVADA KEDVARA CURSE….HE’S
UNCONCIOUS AND NEEDS HELP!” Harry yelled, the silence that enveloped the room
at those words, was astonishing. Healers that were checking people that were
appaterating in every few minutes stopped and looked at the dark haired boy.
Before turning and looking at the unconscious blond haired boy and weak blond
haired woman sitting in chairs. The closest Healer jumped over to them and with
a flick of his wand,
“All available healers to fourth floor spell damage, ward 7, code 12, I repeat code 12…” he said as his voice rang through out the hospital. He tapped his throat again and said looking at Harry, “Do you know where to go?” He asked quickly. Harry nodded and took off.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
“Why is she tied up, were my instructions not explicative enough…” He asked as he walked into the room. He was unlike anything she had ever seen. He was tall, with hair as black as a raven wings and eyes so dark and mysterious she felt he could look into her very soul. He was pale skinned, full red lips, large Roman nose, square jaw, and high cheekbone. He glided across the hard wood floors to where she sat on the green velvet sofa and with a flick of his wand the ropes that held her hands on her lap disappeared. Dressed in all head to toe black, he gave of an air of extreme importance.
“Um who are you?” Mione asked as she looked at him.
“Your future husband…but you may call me Leo for short.” He said with a smirk. There was something familiar about that smirk.
“And what makes you think I’ll marry you…” Mione asked loftily as she looked at him.
“Well considering I saved you life I would think it would be obvious, I’m sorry to say that I was unable to save your father, and your mother is in a coma, but stable, my servants are keeping her guard and as soon as she cleared to go, I’ll bring her here.” Leo stated calmly with of touch of arrogance in his silky voice.
“Oh my god, what about Harry and Ron?” Mione asked in a panicked voice.
“Mr. Weasley suffered some minor injuries as for Mr. Potter, he’s fine. The latest is that supposedly kidnapped, but Albus already knows your here. Mr. Potter cousin I believe has made history as well being the second person to survive the A.K curse, the attacks were very well organized others have perished, but all and all it could have been a lot worse. It was positive insight of Albus to have me start watching you as well, other wise Riddle would have you and Sirius’s children, then we’d all be up a shit creek So will you marry me, I promise no harm would ever come to you or your family again. Your children would be safe, and you can go around saying that you are married to the richest and most handsome man on the planet…” Leo said with a smirk.
“As interesting as I find your offer, I can’t, So can you please tell me who your are?” Mione asked again as she looked at the impeccable man that sat across from her in the one of the most beautiful drawling rooms she had ever seen.
“Lord Antonio Leonardo Octavos Montgomery-Malfoy…but like I
said you may call me Leo…” He said genially as he held out a fine boned hand.
Mione eyes widened in shock; if there was a name better known then Malfoy in
the Wizarding community it was
“Wow…” Mione whispered softly, with a low whistle. He grinned before saying.
“So I take that as a yes…” He asked as he winked at her saucily.
“But you can only marry purebloods, half-blood at the least, wouldn’t marrying me end that?” She asked questioningly.
“No, those are trivial matters that mean very little to me, I can make it worth your while.” He said bluntly. Her eyes widened in surprise. Just then, the door opened, Narcissa and Draco walked regally into the grand room.
“Leo, stay away from her, she’s not yours to take, Draco take Hermione up to her room,
I need to speak to you uncle for a minute.” Narcissa said as she cast a smile upon Hermione then gave a look that spoke volumes to Leo, whom smirked viciously.
Draco walked over to the Hermione and held out a arm. She took hold gingerly, before both walked out of the room. Once in the hall Draco laughed, not a nasty, cruel laugh, but a hearty one filled with mirth. Like the rest of the mausoleum the décor was very grand and expensive.
“What’s so funny?” Hermione asked curious but she had half a guess the knew the reason.
“Them, Dumbledore is not going to be too pleased when they destroy his Drawling room. I can image the look on his face.” Draco said mischievously, his thin lips in a grin.
“Are we in
“Neither actually, we’re in
“Wow” she whispered as she walked on the pale violet rug, but then stopped and thought about all that happened, how she ended up here and that’s when it happened. It was as if the entire house shook and before he knew it, Draco was grabbing the heartbroken girl in his arms and kissing her soundly on the lips in an attempt to distract her. They stayed like this for several seconds, the quaking stopped and without a word, he scooped her up and carried her to the bed, laying her gently down on the soft mattress, all the while kissing her. Finally, with a ragged breath, he pulled back, knowing if he didn’t stop now he never would, but satisfied, he accomplished his task.
“It was not your fault, it’s the Dark Lords not yours, do you understand, He is hell bent on destroying lives and he’s good at it, Do not take this blame, Be thankful for what you have, You still got Potter, the Weasley’s, your mother…Whom all love you very much, and are at their wits ends at the moment. Your are a great witch, do not let him do this to you, Don’t give that evil creature the satisfaction…got it.” Draco said as he looked at her, His silver eyes bright, lips in a thin line as he looked at her pointedly.
“Alright…” she said before he could even say anything, she slapped him.
“Dammit woman I only did that so the house wouldn’t crumble down around us…” Draco said as he jumped of the bed and placed a pale hand on his reddening cheek. The door burst open and Narcissa followed by Albus and Leo rushed in looking at the two teens.
“Draco what are you doing?” Cissa screeched as she came running into the room.
“Trying to get on her from the looks of it…”Leo said that sarcastically as he looked at him, his black eyes cool, smirking mirthlessly.
“Most likely trying to stop the house from collapsing around us…thank you Draco you’re excused…I’d like to speak to Hermione alone…” Albus stated calmly. Leo, Cissa and Draco nodded and left, closing the door behind him.
“What do you know about the prophecy of the heir’s?” Albus asked as he took a seat in one of the high backed chairs, folding his palms on his lap as he looked at her. She scrambled off the bed quickly and the took the seat across from him.
“Just that the founders of our school would each have an heir. The heir’s would be carbon copies of the founders…My Parents and Harry’s family aren’t Muggles are they?” She asked in a tired voice.
“No, your father wasn’t, but your mother’s a squib…Petunia
Evans-Dursley is an Artesian and Dudley is a wizard, but his mother doesn’t
know this as for his father, he’s was a wizard. He meet Petunia threw Lily,
they were involved but
“I’ll send Draco up when dinner is ready, have a nice nap.” Albus said sincerely as he stood up and offered a hand to the tired girl. She took it and with a strong grip he pulled her too her feet. He walked away but turned back to watch her climb into bed, close her eyes and fall instantly to sleep, with a wave of his left hand, The shades were drawn over the windows and the lamps burned softly in the room.
“God helps us all if he gets her…” Albus whispered softly to himself as he walked out of the darkened room. Unbeknownst to him, a soft voice said
“Don’t worry, I won’t let him…” Mione said as she closed her
eyes and drifted off into much need sleep.
