Chapter 4:
Talks, walks and memories remembered.
He
stood before the large beige stone house questioning what he was doing here. He
knew the reason, but couldn’t shake that feeling of sadness either. He paws
clicked slowly on the circular cemented driveway. He walked up the stone steps,
stood up on his back paws and pressed his nose to the bell beside the double
oak doors. A few moments later the door opened and a man Sirius recognized open
the door. The tall man with wavy brown hair and gentle blue eyes looked down
and smiled at him before opening the door wider to let him in. Sirius walked
into the foyer and looked around curiously.
“Carol
and Mione are gone, go ahead and change, it’s safe.” Mark Granger said in a low
deep voice. With a pop the large shaggy
dog had vanished and in his place was a tall slender man with heavy lidded gray
eyes, long black hair, and a wiry body. He was dressed in a white button down
shirt and black pants, and Black cloak all somewhat dirty, but in good shape.
“God
this is worse then I thought, When Albus suggested I stay with at Harry’s best
friends house…I didn’t expect to see you here.”
Sirius said as he shook Marks outstretched hand, with his one slim

way. All we are going to say
She was nervous. He could see it in her eyes. He held her hand lightly and gave it a gentle squeeze before walking into the house. He put the suitcase down by the door and gripped his wand tightly in his left hand. She held her in her right as they walked into the foyer. He looked around the room, the circular stair case that lead to a land that went both left and right. On the left was a large archway that led to a living room on the right a dining room. steps leading to down to both. The hall past stairs had one doorway on the left and one on the right and another arch way that lead to what looked like the kitchen. The small tables were old antiques. The pictures that lined the walls of a young curly headed girl went from birth till last year, the changes obvious. It was when they walked into the kitchen Hermione got a surprise. Draco had been prepared for something like this even worse. He kept his face blank. He let her hand go as if saying good bye for forever.
