It's official; winter is over and spring is here. This calls for a celebration!

My first mid-term examination will be taking place this Thursday, on the 26th. I also have to write a paper by then so I am feeling pretty tense. I just had one class today which was relatively interesting since we just watched a movie for approximately seventy minutes and after that, I met up with Joanne Unni whom I haven't seen for a little over a month. So Joanne, Angeline, Steve (with two of his friends) and I had dinner and coffee at Shinchon.
My grandmother is here from New York and she brought me a skin-care/whitening package which I thought was pretty funny since I am literally butt-white (note picture below which was taken just yesterday after church). Oh well, it's the thought that counts. Look at Hazel, she is too goofy; I can't help but notice that my head is almost twice as big as hers. Anyway, I didn't decide to write tonight to complain about how big my face is, but because of the thought provoking conversation I had with my two lovely friends.
We talked about how we all wanted to take care of our parents when they could no longer have the physical capabilities to go and financially support themselves. I, at least, want to stay with them for the rest of their precious lives and share every moment with them. They, of course, have the financial means to live on their own without my assistance until they (God forbid) pass away. And they once also pointed out that they didn't want me to feel 'obligated' to live with them once they reached that 'level.' I don't know... I find that a little sad... that my parents would think that them living with me in the future would be a burden to me. We all thought it was...
On another note, I saw Dami today at school looking tanned and quite summer-y (I can't find the right word as of the moment); I am so jealous~

Hypocrites suck; they tell you one thing with absolute sincerity, promising you that their actions will change... except, as soon as you begin to contemplate about what they said, they're back to their old habits, thinking only about themselves... Whatever, I don't think it's even worth my time anymore.
I went dancing last night with the girls. The dj at NBINB was not doing a competent job and everyone was pretty tired, especially me. I didn't really feel like staying out late so I left when it was close to one a.m. I keep on trying to call Tracey but I'm not getting through... weird.

I should be grateful for having such wonderful friends. Last night, I was ignoring Ellen and Angeline and when they kept on texting me, non-stop, I told them to f*ck-off. They came over late in the night to turn my frown upside down and forced me to sit and talk with them at the playground. Such sweeties...

I now have a real job, yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy; I'll be working for Korea Broadcasting System (KBS), specifically working for a show called, "The World This Morning," starring Robert Harley (You know, the white guy who speaks fluent Korean and constantly preaches the importance of English education). I am pretty lucky when it comes to finding employment.
On another note, Tracey sent me some pictures of her and her boyfriend, so I've taken the liberty to upload it for the whole world to see what a darling she is. I miss her a lot; I miss you Tracey!!!!

May 5, 2001 (Cinco de Mayo & Children's Day)
Spent the first half of the day at work; I saw the recording of our show for the first time and it felt absolutely exhilirating. And after that, I met up with Ellen and we sat and talked at a coffee shop for approximately four hours. We talked about everything and anything; I ended up sipping on four glasses of diet coke.
My baby cousin, Akira, came over for dinner tonight. His first birthday is coming up on the nineteenth and he is the epitome of adorable... Akira, Akira, Akira... my adorable cousin =), although not so photogenic in these pics.
oh, I need to go back
oh, must read more
