Teaching, Learning, and the Curriculum

III-B. Use technology to support learner-centered strategies that address the diverse needs of students.

Evidences:
A basic chart that helps determine learning style.

A list of appropriate technologies for each learning style.

Reflection:
It is important for teachers to present material students in a variety of ways.  Each student learns a little differently from every other student; in order to help all students reach their potential, we must teach in ways that our students can embrace.  By acknowledging different learning styles, I can also begin to understand why students struggle with some assignments but excel with others.  Technology is an important area to consider learning styles, because not only do we require assignments with each technology, we must first teach how to use the technology correctly.  For instance, by knowing which of my students may learn kinesthetically,  I may decide to offer stretch breaks or computer rotations simply to involve movement within a long, but necessary instructional lesson.
