Reflection:
It is not only important, but vital, to integrate technology into our
lesson plans. Our students are growing up in a world in which
they will likely be introduced to a computer long before their
Kindergarten teacher. Students must not view technology only as
something to play or pass the time time with; they must understand that
technology, especially the internet, can bring them information about
anything and everything. As teachers we are expected to arm our
students with reading and math skills that will help them succeed in
the future. Technology knowledge may soon be viewed as a
necessity, right along with cursive and multiplication. We
must arm our students with these skills as well.
