Rescues are individuals and organizations that take in unwanted, abandoned, and or stray animals. These are not the only reasons animals end up in rescues, people pass away, divorce, move, health problems, or time has expired at local shelters. Some people keep the dogs until they can beplaced in their new homes via Rescue Networks. However, dogs are often taken to a foster home, evaluated, and placed into a new and loving home. In Rescues there
are very young pups to very senior dogs. Not everyone needs or wants a puppy. The lives of some families cant accomodate to the needs of a young pup. Rescues can give these people an alternative. Another valuable aspect of Rescues is temperament. In a Rescue situation people can seek out the appropriate temperament that fits their lifetyle. Many rescue animals compete in obedience and other sports. Just because they are in a Rescue doesnt mean they are bad dogs. With Rescue you are helping a living creature to live a long loving and healthy life. Breeders who don't rescue should sit back and look at how they may be contributing to the problem.
The cost of adopting aSchipperke may very between 100.00 and 150.00. The dog will recieve all appropriate vaccinations, and any medical care,& spay/neutering of the dog. When adopting a dog you are making a donation to the Spaulding Schipperke Rescue, and your new family member, myself and the many dogs yet to come appreciate it greatly. I have dedicated my time in helping Schipperkes, because each time I see mine or my friends that come and go; I am amazed at how beautiful and ingenious they really are. If you are interested in a Schipperke you see on here, or would like to tell me a few things about yourself, I can help you find the perfect dog for you. I have a application available on this site. I don't have many dogs at a time, so I can spend time with each dog individually, and see what their needs are.
