Sara and Me

On February the 24th, I drove with my mom down to Indy. We went to Greenwood Public Library for a special event. I had my chance to shake hands and chat with a very nice woman who happened to be Sara Karloff, the daughter of the great horror (among other roles) actor Boris Karloff. I was more excited then nervous. I stood line with other horror fans holding a copy of Mary Shelley�s book Frankenstein, a magazine which did a tribute to Boris Karloff in 1999 and I bought another book about Karloff with a nice picture of Sara and her dad. She signed all the items to me! And she was very gracious about talking to me only for a minute. It was so cool to hear her speak about her father�s work and she showed us some family slides. It was very fun and exciting for me. Also I got my chance to speak to Robert Taylor from Indiana too. I�ve talked to him and others online for about six months now. He was very kind and nice and was happy to meet me too. His a very good friend to Sara. I had such a blast seeing so much cinema history in front of me. I�m so happy I went. Even my mom felt happy that I took her. it�s an evening I won�t forget!
