Ecokids Online

• This is the most complete and fun site about frogs and toads on the web. It's also a Canadian site so you can learn all about frogs and toads that live in Canada. There are also some cool interactive online games, tons of information, and activities. This site is a great way to learn more about frogs and test your frog knowledge.

Frog Watch

• This is a new publication that comes out semi-annually by the Canadian Nature Federation. Click on the Frogwatch Program Link to find out more about their volunteer monitoring program. I really like the Frog ID page because it teaches all about the frogs that live in Canada - see a picture, read quick facts, and listen to their call. I great Canadian site for frog research.

 

Centre for Global Environmental Education

• Another great site to learn more about frogs and toads. This site also has MANY links to other frog and toad sites on the web. Check it out!

 

The Exploratorium

• Another complete site with tons of info, stories, history, online activities, exhibits and sounds of frogs. This site it definately worth seeing!

 

Frogland!

• This site doesn't look like very much at first but scroll down and click on the links to get to tons of information about frogs. You can get weird facts about frogs, read some frog fables and jokes, colour some frog pictures, listen to frog radio, participate in a frog poll, and much, much more.

 

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency: Kids

•This site has 'lots of stuff about frogs - pictures, sounds, printable colouring pages, live frog cam, and information about deformed frogs.

 

The Virtual Zoo

• Do you want a clear but complete description of what amphibians, frogs and toads are? Visit this site and click on the "Amphibians" exhibit on the map of the virtual zoo. You might want to check out the rest of the zoo, too!

 

Amphibians of Manitoba

• This is an easy-to-look at and interesting site with 'lots of information about the many frogs that live in Manitoba, Canada. Learn more about amphibians, their life cycle, and see and read info about specific Canadian frogs. This is a great Canadian site!

 

Frogs of Australia

• This is a very informative site with great information and pictures of the many frogs that live in Australia.

 

The Frog Files

• Another Australian based site with terrific links to frog pages. This is the site that will answer your questions and raise awareness that amphibians are being threatened.

 

Amphibians of Ontario

• This is another easy-to-look at and interesting site with 'lots of information about the many frogs that live in Ontario, Canada. See and read info about specific species of frogs in Ontario. This is another nice Canadian site!

 

Department of Environment and Conservation

•This site has an interesting story called Sounds Good To Me. The characters are a ladybug, a raccoon, and David (a strange human). Click on the .wav link and listen to the sounds of a froggy pond.

• This look slike a nice site but it's still under construction so a few things don't work yet (like the pictures page). It will be a great site once everything is up and running.

Interactive Froggy Fun and Games

•This is a GREAT place to play online interactive frog games. You can play musical frogs, madlibs, tic-tac-toe, memory, lickety-splat, and even the classic game – Frogger! This site is worth your time.

 

Hungry Frog Game

• Play an online math game. It's a little difficult to get used to but it works. Click on the answer, then on the question to score some points.

 

Neat-o Frog Computer Stuff

• Here, you can get some cute games, icons, screen savers, and desktop wallpaper for your computer. Most gadgets work only in Windows though.
