Here are the latest updates on our wedding planning:
1) The wedding will take place at the Miamitown Church of Christ. Minister Steve Kehrer will officiate!
2) Our reception will be held at Meadowbrook Reception Hall in Ross, OH. It comes complete with gazebo and all! The hall also includes a full buffet by Hilver's catering and a partially open bar (free beer and wine)! Celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope have visited this hall (back in their younger days). It's been around that long! And it's still just as beautiful :)
3) The DJ will be from A Solid Gold Production, who also performed at my cousin's wedding last August! A great deal with a great performance!
4) I HAVE MY DRESS!!! I'd post a picture of it, but I don't want to run the risk of Rocky seeing it before the wedding day ;) I WILL tell you that it's white (duh!) and the designer is Alfred Angelo!
5) We have the bridesmaid dresses!!! MAJORLY good price at DEB's in the mall!!! (We went looking through prom dresses) Thanks to being a "last season" style (that somehow looks exactly like one that is THIS season's style..hmm)... The two bridesmaids are wearing dark emerald green and the maid of honor (my sister!) is wearing metallic burgundy :) The skirts are long and have a bit of a train and there are spaghetti straps criss-crossing from the waist to the shoulder blades in the back with spaghetti strap sleeves :) VERY GORGEOUS!!! :)
6) The groomsmen will coordinate with the bridesmaids! Eric (best man) will wear a burgundy vest to match Melissa (maid of honor), and the rest will of the groomsmen will wear an emerald green vest :)
7) The limousine will be provided by M&M Limousine Company. It will be a white and black limousine.
8) One of our singers at the wedding will be a close friend of the family, Shannon Wilson, who has an AWESOME voice :)
9) We will be honeymooning in a chalet on top of Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee!!!
