|
|
|
 |
#5 Sharlene Wang
Talent - Chinese Dance with Fan Comment - Looks a little like Miss Chinese New York 2003, Xian Lien. Not a memorable talent or performance.

#2 Michelle He Yan
Talent - Singing a Faye Wong Song and playing piano (Music translated herself) Comment - Her dress had this backing to it, and she kept holding it. She started the song, Ok, but became out of tune. Her high notes were one word, "ouch"

#3 Elaine Yu
Talent - Swing Dance (with a Partner) Comment - The story was suppose to be about a girl and a boy and their romance. But her partner seemed more like her uncle (not really her fault or anything). She looked really good during her dance, but the dancing was not too interesting.

#8 A. Wang
Talent - Violin to Concerto #8 Comment - The song was very nice, but I thought it was a little short. Her facial emotions didn't look elegant during her talent portion though.

#1 Beverly Yip
Talent - Ribbon Dance to a Chinese Song Comment - Her dance looked very easy.

|
|
 |
#15 Stacy Young
Talent - Malaysian Lion Dance with a Partner Comment - The talent was very acrobatic and animated. It was good, but doesn't show much elegance and we didn't see her much because she was under the lion costume. A cool thing she did was she had "food" in the lion's mouth, and when she let it go, she kicked the "food" to the audience.

#7 Rina Tzeng
Talent - Dancing to "Freedom" Comment - Her sleeves were long, so it kind of looked like a ribbon dance. She did a wonderful ballet. Her costume was questionable, only because it didn't make her stomach look that great.

#4 Tina I Ting Ting
Talent - Chinese Folk Dance to "Once Upon a Blue Moon" Comment - The dance was creative, but not amazing. I thought it was short.

#9 Shan Chen
Talent - Singing, "The Moon Represents My Heart" Comment - Her gown made her look like a Princess. The song was good compared to some of the other girls. Her kept doing this weird thing with her voice, probably trying to imitate a real singer. It didn't make her sound better but a little out of tune.

#11 Annie Chang
Talent - Dancing to "Toxic" Comment - Yes it is a Britney Spears song, but she make it look classy, even though she "stripped". She started with a pant suit (white top, black bottom) and a hat. She ended up with a cute black top, and her black pants. She choreographed the dance herself. The dance good and she did a cartwheel at the end.

#10 Crystal Yuan
Talent - Violin to "Journey to China" with a piano player Comment - She deserved the talent award. She was the only REAL talent on that stage. It showed how long she's been practicing. At one part the tempo accelerated and the audience loved it.

#12 Kim Choy
Talent - Mongolian Folk Dance Comment - It was unique, and an OK dance

|
#6 Annie Tang
Talent - Dance to Andy Lau's "Tomorrow's Fiesta" with a partner Comment - I thought it was really cool. I was amazed since she was in heels and the song is pretty fast.

|
#16 Dana Li KT Dung
Talent - Singing to "Half the Moment" Comment - She sang in English and her gown made her look really good. She amazed me by how BAD she sounded. For a girl who has competed for Miss Hawaii America, I'm surprised her talent wasn't better. She trys hard to sound broadway, but ended up being out of tune. The high notes were hard to stand. (02/05 Update - Turns out Dana-Li was sick while in San Francisco and was even taken to the hospital at some point) |

#14 Meilinda Huang
Talent - Singing and Dancing to "My Heart Will Go On" Comment - She sang the first part, which wasn't too bad for this song. She prerecorded the rest of the song for her to go a ballet routine to. |
