When actor jeff goldblum was 10 years old, he took art classes at pittsburg's carnigie museum, which housed the biggest T.Rex bone exhibit in the world. Every week he walked by the T. Rex and was facinated by it. Now hes starring in a movie with a T Rex (wishing it was still a heap o' bones!) and running for his life!

ON BONDING WITH STEVEN SPIELBERG:
"Oh, we had the greatest time. I was more familiar with him and enjoyed even more being directed by him. He's so great, so confident and brilliant. One day we were shooting at a girls' school and there was a piano and steven plays the clarinet! He brought his clarinet to the set and the 2 of us played music in between scene setups all day long." |

DINO FRIGHT:"Yeah, the dinosaurs are very scary. They were moving around and interacting with us. They breathe and blink their eyes, so they seemed for the world like real dinosaurs." |

HANG TIME:"Theres plenty more action for me in the sequel. The whole movie is more action-packed. I can give anything away, but there are lots of scenes where (my co-stars) Julianne, Vanessa, Vince and I were just barely hanging on to something over a huge precipice. While filming those scenes, we were really hanging high above the ground! They put us in harnesses and assured us we were safe, but it was still pretty scary." |

T REXISM:"I think the T rex is my favorite dinosaur. It's so big and fierce. It's majestic and a good animal, although it's also powerful and dangerous. In the LOST WORLD we get to see some of its home life." |
