| You must be between the ages of 17-24 years old by September 30 of that competition year. You must be at least a Senior in High School. You must be a United States Citizen 6 months prior to competition. You must be a New Jersey Resident, Full Time Student, or Employed Full Time in the State of New Jersey 6 months prior to competition. If competing for a closed pageant you must be a resident, full time student, or employed full time in that county 6 months prior to competition. To become Miss Champaign Springs, you must never have competed at a Miss America State Pageant....or have been a title holder in the Miss America Pageant System. |
| PHASES OF COMPETITION: Interview: 25% of your final score This is your chance to meet in a private interview with the judges. Interviews are held earlier in the day prior to on-stage competition Swimwear: 10% of your final score Swimwear can be one or two pieces but it must be in good taste Talent: 35% of your final score A 2:00 minute talent presentation, this is a chance for you to show off your talent Evening Wear: 15% of your final score An evening gown of your choice On Stage Question: 5% of your final score Judged on the ability to articulate both a sincere opinion and an engaging personaity |
