Disclaimer: Why am I bothered to answer such an obvious
question? Of course I don’t own Beyblade!
I’m using
the original names: Yuriy = Tala, Boris =
Strawberries
Those are good. I never knew strawberries
could be that good. The food in the Abbey was pretty much tasteless – nutritious and all, but you wouldn’t try it unless you
have no choice – believe me. Sergey says, it always happens if you cook for
much people.
That’s funny, how oodles of people are
convinced we have been starved, beaten and had other awful things done to us –
in such an amount that we should be dead or vegetables by now. “Us” as in Team
Neo Borg. Nobody ever thinks that a starved person can’t really concentrate on
anything else than food. If you give them something to eat – however it tastes
– they will train beyblading… or whatever else you might want. The same is with
beating up – a person who’s beaten up black and blue won’t be able to do very
much, but if you slap them a few times it will only make them try harder. Slaps
hurt a lot, but leave you relatively undamaged.
Yuriy says I shouldn’t be cynical – that at
least one of us should try sounding a bit more positive and since I’m the
youngest one, I should be the optimistic one. Really! Captain dearest can have
some ideas. I like him all right, but his so… bossy! Quite typical for most
team captains, – main reason he didn’t like Kai, I guess – but it sure annoys
the hell out of me. Redhead is one of the people you can’t not like, if you get
to know him at least a bit, but he can be so annoying! He’s vain, arrogant and
knows everything best. And I still like him!
Sergey is a bit better – if you don’t mind the
fact he plays stupid, so his opponents underestimate him His not exactly a fast
thinker – his one of those who go methodically and calmly, but steadily from
every side. That and his sense of humour isn’t that stingy as Yuriy’s – he
knows when to stop. He’s also very much like me – taken from his family, never
to see them again. Why? They’re dead.
But at least I had a family. At least I knew
them. Not like Yuriy – I don’t have to fear I’m just a creation of some twisted
mind, that I’m only an experiment owing every single thing to scientists. He’s
quite over-sensitive when it comes to that…
Now
Boris… Boris is the one I don’t understand at all. I don’t even have the
faintest idea what’s he thinking. You know, I don’t understand how somebody can
have no emotions at all. It sounds so impossible not to be able to have fun or
get upset. It sounds so… forced when he repeats it – as if it wasn’t what he’s
really thinking, but something he tells because he had been thought to. But
it’s only sometimes like that – most of the time he sounds as if he really
didn’t have any feelings. Scary guy.
And there was Kai. The one with amnesia – a
pity that Yuriy didn’t let me make him believe he did some stupid things like
running naked through the corridor or… Hmm… Funny, I forgot. Now, I know
captain-dearest either didn’t like him or at least was mad at him for some reason
– no idea why. But I don’t know why he wouldn’t let me poke fun of Hiwatari
Junior as much as I would have liked to. Didn’t he want to get back on him for
treating us… him as if he was something worse? Well, didn’t he? And if it he
did then why? Weird.
I should be used to weird people by now… I
mean it’s not as if you could stay completely normal in the Abbey – you either
grew sarcastic and cynical like Yuriy or introverted like Sergey… or even like
Boris. Not funny… Not funny at all, but if you start taking it all too serious
you’ll crack. And “cracking” isn’t pretty, believe me. And you don’t wanna know
how it goes. Believe me.
There. I should be stuffing myself with those
strawberries and not talking about the Abbey – it’s not a good topic to talk about.
It’s boring and makes me go on about things you really wouldn’t want to know.
There you go again with rape and abuse – I told you already that a raped or
badly beaten up person can’t concentrate on what they’re doing… Can’t you be
more practical for once?.. Thought so.
