| Your Face ~the right foundation for your skin type~ Every single suggested foundation and concealer is under $10 most places, including your friendly neighborhood wal-mart! Oily or combination skin For oily skin, be sure to buy a foundation that is oil-free, non-codemogenic, or says that it 'won't clog pores'. it's an extra bonus if the foundation has a coordinating pressed powder, so you can stay shine-free all day. a recommended foundation (and one that I personally use) is 'Pure.makeup' by Maybelline. It has a coordinating liquid, pressed powder, and concealer wand. If you want a little better coverage, try 'Trublend' by Covergirl. It comes in a liquid and pressed powder. Dry or normal skin For dry skin, you need a foundation that won't dry your skin. Try a foundation like 'Aquasmooth' from Covergirl. It comes in a convenient compact, and transforms from a cream to a liquid to a powder. And of course, it's oil-free and has a built-in sunscreen. Have a skin problem that you just can't cover? Acne, fine lines, redness... whatever it may be, I can help. Email me at [email protected] for a personal response. |
