| Centers are an important part of our day in first grade! Here are some of the centers we can choose from! BALANCED LITERACY Literacy Centers Literacy centers are areas and activities in our classroom that support and enhance reading and writing. They are available to use during Balanced Literacy time.Some Literacy Centers include: Listening Center Big Books Center Reading Games Spelling Center Writing Center Poetry Place Handwriting Center Magnetic Letters Other centers are for the children to practice skills they have learned.
