So I am now a married woman. For exactly a month. It's no different to before and I haven't changed my name so I can't say it feels any different. Wedding photos are at http:\\photos.yahoo.com\the_mfws for those who may be interested. Jay started a new job last week which is fantastic news. Now we just have to wait for the immigration department to come back about his spousal visa and if they have approved it. Lord knows what we are going to do if they don't. I really don't feel like uprooting my life back to Canada right now. We started bowling in a 10 pin bowling league which has been alot of fun. I'm not that good at it (average of around 100 at top score of 132) but I am improving. I've even ordered my own bowling ball which should help matters. Those alley ones are not always the best. Otherwise life is busy as always, but very good. Christmas is just around the corner......

www.schoolfriends.com.au Interesting site - remember all those names that you pushed into the depths of your memory and didn't care to remember again, but all the same its comforting to know those people are still around. I got in touch with 2 chickadees I went to school with. Now I just feel old. Ten years since I was at school....I can't believe it. My top bowling score is now 154 and I even came 3rd in a bowler of the month competition. My sister came first and I think her husband was more excited than her about it! Jay got his visa approved and job is going along just dandy. This whole web site needs an overhaul...but I keep saying that. One day I may actually get the time & inclination to do something about it. Until then, you just have to put up with the old stuff!

Tomorrow I have to sit my marketing exam. So as you can imagine this has been a fun filled weekend. I think I have it all down pat, or worst case scenario I can atleast bullshit my way around the questions. That's the great thing about marketing. Often there is no right or wrong. As long as you support your viewpoint.... I got my 3rd assessment back and got 100% so at the moment I'm sitting on a total of 94% for this course. The exam tomorrow is worth 50% of my total mark and the assessments combine for 50%. Therefore I could fail tomorrow and fail the course. Good eh? lol The thing is...I am applying for uni for next year (Bachelor of Business - dual majors ; marketing & E-commerce) so if I get accepted then tomorrows test means absolutely nothing. However, if I don't get accepted then the test is very important as I will transfer my course into a Diploma of Business and the module can be transferred also. At any rate, the module was not a waste of time as I have learnt quite a bit and it will help me with either the Bachelor or Diploma (alothough just perhaps not formally) I have 4 modules left in my IT course (electives ; I have completed the core components) but last assignments must be in this week, so I will finish that course next year. I have already applied for a course in Web Development. So (see if you can follow this....) if I get accepted into uni, then I finish my current IT course, can the Web course & marketing course. However, if I don't, then I can the marketing course and transfer that into Business studies DEPENDING on what happens with my current job. If my job stays the same then I finish my current Marketing & IT course and start the Web course. Confused? Now you know my life Off the subject - I was looking at my site stats here that Yahoo! compiles ('cause ofcourse everyone with a homepage is so intrigued as to their visitors....apparantly?) and someone actually found this webpage my typing "lorelei subliminal" into www.google.com How weird is that? So I found my site in Google and it's all garble 'cause I never quite got around to writing those META tags. So I have now done that and my site should be more easily found when searching. (If you are wondering what META Tags are - try www.whatis.com as I can't be bothered explaining) I have had about 700 visitors to the main page of this site and the highest number of page views was in April 2001 with 90. I can't work out why that would be as I haven't done anything interesting this year, and certainly nothing I can remember in April. Someone actually found it by typing "there's nothing to do" into google.com. Must've been an exciting day in their life!! And there is some from a site about a Jingling Iron Woman webpage...it just gets weirder. Which leads me to the conclusion, I don't want to know who is viting here or from where - it is just too bizarre. And that concludes my study break. I'll keep you posted on how it all pans out
