Suppress

How gracefully you float
Above your subjects
On the ground
Bowing to you
In immortal debt
But I do not bow
For an arrogant fool
Such as yourself
Heart of hell
And soul of stone
I break the silence
Try to suppress me
Understand what it means
To be alone in your own world.
I see you, hear you, smell you,
Feel you grab for
Mercy from your followers
On the dirty ground
Wailing for forgiveness
But there is nothing left to forgive
There is no will in hell
Lash about as you fall
Down past your subjects
Now a group of fleeting satirists
Down past the demons
To where I stand. Understand,
Know what it is to be
Alone.
