I creep through murky shadows
Eyes laden with raven haze
Powerless to focus
My opponent, the world
A hopeless mission toward the inevitable
An uphill battle in solitaire
Could there exist a tougher provocation?
It is most inconceivalbe
Yet I druge forward
As means for survival
Unsure as to what lies ahead
Doubtful that anything is there
I wish for release
Elevating my spiritual being to my Lord
And I, upon rejection, realize it is not my time
By renouncing my yearning to become one
with He who is my Savior,
The Divine has sent such an awesome message
One of hope and confidence
He sends you to me
For He has a plan
And I have faith, and stand strong in the knowledge
That you, my radiant angel, will stand by my side
Eternally
So hold me in your heart always,
And never let me go
Because together, with God,
We are eternity
