I can't believe it's been two birthdays without you here with us. It seems like just yesterday we were in the kitchen baking cakes and cookies. I asked you what kind of cake you wanted for your birthday and you always said "chocolate cake and chocolate frosting". Remember one year I tried to trick you and made a white cake and tons of chocolate frosting. We laughed when you found out it wasn't chocolate cake. We still ate it and laughed and talked. I miss those days so much. I would give anything to have those days again. I hope that the Lord and all our family is making this special day great for you. Even though we aren't going be able to celebrate today with each other on earth, I will be celebrating the best I can with you. I love you so much mom. I know that it's your birthday and I shouldn't ask for favors, but can you please do me a special one? Can you please show me a sign tomorrow to tell me you are watching and helping me. I really need to know that tomorrow you will be with me when I wake up. I miss you so much and I just hope someday I will be back in your arms again. I love you mommy
