We're expecting another 3-5" of snow during the week. According to weather forecasts we've experienced 1" of snow per day this month. And that is why I haven't had a chance to update. I've been struggling with the snow, with the cold, with my car. Last Wednesday I had a horrible four hour commute on the way home. Isn't that awful? Yes, c'mon you know it is. So once I get home (after ten almost every single day) I'm just too irritated and tired to do anything but crash.

I had my last web design class of the year and I can say with certainty that I'm going to miss it. I like my teacher and my fellow classmates because we all LOVE this stuff. It's great to study something you like with people as enthusiastic as yourself. We'll be back together the first weekend in January though.

Yikes! Only a few more days until I'm off to Texas. I'm kind of nervous now because I haven't seen my parents in so long. What will they say? How will they react? I mean I'm sure they'll be happy to see me but once that fades (ha!... cynical anyone?) are they going to start harassing me? Will my mother give in to theatrics becoming her usual martyr self and use this to try and convince me to stay? Will my father employ his macho idealistics to do the same? Well, neither is going to work. Thanks to my time away from them, the sessions with my counselor, and my overall new found inner strength I will be able to look them in the eye and say 'let it go'....just let it go.

I always feel I've said nothing when I update. I need to learn to write without boring everyone, especially myself, to death. The problem is I can hear myself talking this out but when it comes time to write it I'm just in a hurry to finish up and usual chop everything up. Sucks. One of my goals for the new year is to become a good writer... well, a better journaller. The journals I read everyday are the best things I've read in my life and I want to be able express myself the way they do. Speaking of goals I guess I need to write them out soon. I will.

Congratulations go out to Terri of FootNotes . He popped the question, she answered and.....well, go read it.
