Another hot chocolate morning! This time I feel fine though. It could be because we're having our department holiday party at a race track and I'm sorta excited about it. I don't feel like working so getting out of the office for free food and drinks sounds just right.

It's snowing. It snowed last night while I went for my walk. It snowed this morning on my drive into work which caused me to be 40 minutes late. [begin rant]We're in Chicago for fuk-sakes! Aren't you people *used* to driving in these conditions? Why the hell do you drive like your wheels are on eggshells? WTF? Did you just ALL realize it was snowing? Are you scared of going more than 10 miles per hour? You think you might s l i d e off the road into the sidewalk? It's not butter, yo. Lookie here, I'm from Texas...ya hear? T-E-X-A-S... no cold there, no snow, no salty roads, no mush, no slippity-slide... yet I *still* manage to drive like I've lived in Alaska my whole life compared to you morons (sorry to the non-moron types). If you're scared of driving and you know you're going to drive like a turtle, please please please leave your house TWO hours before you're supposed to get into work. Don't make the rest of us normal drivers late. Or better yet, take the train. ThankYou! [end rant]

I've been wanting to write something for Erica's Some Crazy Dame site but I can't come up with anything.... in English. When I think of the times I've been called crazy, or screwey, or looney it's been in Spanish. Mostly being because my parents are the ones calling me that... heh. Show me the love momma. So **my brilliant idea of the day** is to translate Some Crazy Dame.com to espa�ol. I'll be able to write some stuff too and I'll (all this with Erica's permission) link the site to latina/hispanic/chicana portals! Me merezco el premio nobel!

One of my new friends here in Chicago recently made a trip to another state to meet someone. Okay I won't say more until I get his permission but let's just say he was all googly for her before he got there and still is! Yay! And thank goodness he came back or else I'd really think he was a freak (not that he's not anyway).
