| The intent of this page is to let everyone know where we stand on issues and maybe even give some of you some ideas. |
| The Idea of being a Punk All to often I hear someone saying that somebody else is not as punk as them or that someone is a poser. I say who cares. If someone has the exact definition of a punk I want to hear it, but until then lets let punk be what you make it. Who cares if they listen to the music just to be cool or just to be different. Who cares if you are a die hard listener with all the beliefs and what not. For us to be seperated into punks and posers defeats the whole cause. This music is supposed to bring us together. This life-style is supposed to end the judging. As adolescents we already get labeled enough. Why should we go around worrying about who is straight-edge, vegan, punk or just a poser. Let people be what they want to be. -matt |
| Talent "Just another no talent punk band" This may be true, but is talent really the reason why people start bands. We know that we don't have a lot of talent, but we don't mind. Our music means a lot more to us than just who we can impress with our talent or cute songs. This music is more than just that. It is our way to get our message out to the public. We may be teenagers, but we have a lot to say. I am sick of hearing that punk is not talented. Does talent mean that we have to have extended guitar solos, sick bass lines, or kick anus drum parts. If you want to label us just another no talent punk band go ahead. We are over it. |
| Our Views On our Country So we hang flags upside down and only salute with one finger, but that doesn't mean that we are anti-america. In fact we do these things because we recognize that our country is not as great as everyone thinks. Our view on america is that it needs to be reformed for our future. Our "disrespect" for the flag is because of what it has become. It used to stand for something, now it just symbolizes our nationalism. Our founding fathers established a government that could be changed and work with the people. It used to be a government by the people for the people, but we can see from the last election that it has become something else. Controlled by a more educated people with ideas to make it better. A better world. Free from hate, judging, and discrimination. |
