Everyone's A Hero

It seems that these days nobody is satisfied unless they feel they have made a difference. Sometimes making a difference can be as easy as giving a homeless person some change, or thanking a veteran for their sacrafice. Than there is taking it to the next level. "How do i take it to the next level?" you ask. Well its simple.... think of it like this. If your one selfless act single handedly fucks up the lives of thousands, well thats a good indicator that your good intentions will more than likely get lost in translation.

Highway 24 is an Ontario Provincial highway that runs from lake erie all the way through Simcoe, Brantford, Cambridge, Guelph, and many other populated cities. Over the years the highway has become so congested and such a trouble spot for fatal accidents, that the government has begun looking into the construction of a 400 series divided highway running parallel to Highway 24 that will run North and South from the 403 in Brantford, to the 401 in Cambridge. My daily work commute is on the very road they are looking to replace, and the idea of a 400 series highway in this area excites me. I have family in Guelph and for years have been plagued by traffic and dangerous roads and it would be nice to finally see a proposition started in the 1970's come to light in this modern day traffic nightmare we call Southern Ontario.

So im checking the net the other day to see if a projected start day for the 424 has been set by the provincial government and what do i see? A website called STOPTHE424.COM (SEEN HERE)
That's right the same tree hugging rejects that ruined the incandescent lightbulb, styrofoam, and lawn pestisides took that "extra step" i was reffering to earlier and have begun boycotting the first good idea the provincial government has come up with since allowing women to go topless.

WHY would anyone want to hamper progress in the economy and in the world? Is it any wonder we can't find a cure to cancer? the only known cure probably kills trees!!! The environmentalists (and i use that term lightly because in essence these people are just hippie activists with a diploma from Devry) say its going to kill too many trees and lead to increased global warming from all the traffic. Let's get something straight here people, first of all lets pretend for a moment that global warming actually exists, are you telling me its from lack of trees? HELL NO!

There are more trees today than ever because anytime one is taken down some hippie plants two more. Secondly how can you argue that a highway will create more vehicle use? Do car dealerships hand out free cars to celebrate a new highway? That argument is the dumbest thing i've ever heard because wouldn't cars pollute the world more if they took twice as long to get somewhere, and ran idle on the highway in traffic jams? Less roads wont stop people from driving, it will just cause a society of irate commuters pumping out twice the CO2 from their mufflers than they need to.

Its amazing how tree huggers like the idea of change when its their idea. The government has decided that coal fired power plants are too inefficient, pollute too much, and costing too much to keep unning, so they decided to switch to nuclear power. It's cleaner, more efficient, and plants are easier to maintain. Wouldn't it stand to reason that an overloaded highway with bumper to bumper traffic, which keeps having to be repaired due to overloading would best be replaced with a modern more effective form of travel?

Environmentalists are full of shit because they keep begging for money to fix things that will never change and like idiots our guilty conscience keeps forking it over to them. We as humans are parasites on earth, we use what we need leave behind waste and will eventually destroy our host it's a fact of life.

The biggest issue with the 424 is people saying that it is going to pave over farmland. Once again i see a glaring contradiction with their argument. Aren't these the same environmentalists that told us 5 years ago that bovine flatulance (thats right cow farts) is one of the leading contributors of global warming? (don't believe me, look it up.) in fact if you want to get VERY technical TREES are ruining the air we breathe. How is that possible you ask? essentially...for lack of scientific terms "plant farts." "A study calculated that vegetal sources of monoterpenes and isoprene rose by up to 17% from the 1980s to the 1990s � equivalent to three times the industrial reductions." That means for all the pollution hippies have managed to get industry to reduce, trees and plantlife have farted that ammount out 3 times over. (Report Here)

Look all im saying is that all the bitching and sign waving in the world wont stop people from breeding, wont stop the world from growing, and wont stop us from destroying planet earth. Do your part and shut the hell up. i already pay to E-test my car, Pay to have it scrapped when it dies and have to donate organs to fill up at the pumps. Cant i have a little peace on my morning commute by sitting back cruising through morning traffic as I behold the accomplishments of my fellow man?

If God wanted us to hand the earth back to him the exact way we got it, what is the point of living? Every aspect of evolution comes with consequences. Deal with it.
