This is my tiger salamander, Trent Reznor. I got him years ago at a petstore selling tigers in the larval stage, also called mud puppies. They are fully aquatic and have gills to breathe under water. After a few months the gills fall off and the body goes through huge changes. Then they become what trent reznor is which is the adult stage. They barly go in the water any more but they do enjoy sitting in water. Mostly digs in the dirt and hides in his cave. Hes very fiesty, always hungry, will even bite at me. Crickets are his favorite meal. |
