This is my male red belly turtle. His name is Turtle. My step mom saved him when he was the size of a quarter from our swimming pool in 2002. My dad told her not to let him go and a few months later when I moved back with them he became mine because he was growing like crazy. I became the person that fed him, cleand his tank and filter, handled him, so on. So now he is mine and when i move away hes coming with me. His shell is 6 inches long, it is possible for him to almost double in size. From as much as he eats i see that being very possible. His favorite thing is escaping his tank and being loose in the herp room. Luckily iv put so much weight on the lid he can't lift it up any more.
