Maddy is my female colombian red tail boa. She is around 5 years old and is 5.5 feet. I got her in 2001 when she was only a few feet long. I got her from a man who didn't want her any more so she was free. He claimed she was agresive, I noticed she was a bit jumpy, didn't like being handled, wanted to be left alone but wouldn't strike or bite. After a long time of handling her often she became nicer and nicer and became use to me. Now she doesn't even like to be held by any one but me. She is definetly my favorite animal I own and will ever own, she is so sweet and beautiful. |
