Bushido is the code of honor the ancient Samurai followed, and while in theory it appeared rather rigid and inflexible with absolute shades of black and white/ right and wrong, in practice it can be rather more murky as to what the correct decision is.
Especially where there is more than one factor that requires an honorable choice in the same situation.
The samurai were a proud brotherhood, often doomed to choose paths their hearts would rather not follow, yet unrelenting in their devotion to their chosen code of behaviour. |
