Walkthrough 1: A quickie

Day 1:

Art Gallery:

You start out in the art gallery on the opening night. Talk to Bonnie; go through whatever series of questions you like, but be sure not to exit until saying goodbye is the last option in the dialog box.

Next, talk to Aunt Judith, Damon and Margaret. Damon will leave, Margaret will run off and Aunt Judith will go to try and find her. Turn to your left where a large display case and small display case sit. Click on it and pick up the jeweled key from the top. Turn right and enter into the next room.

Talk to Mikhail Romanoff and Caroline Forbes, use whatever dialog you want. Mikhail will leave, talk to Caroline alone, and then leave. Go back through the room you were just in, pass Bonnie and enter in to the next room.

Talk to Mrs. Flowers, who, for once, isn't in the basement, and Mr. Richards, who is a total and complete freak. Richards leaves, and you should say goodbye to Mrs. Flowers. Turn to the clock, select the key and insert the key into the clock. This advances your game time. Go back into the room you just came from and talk to Bonnie. Margaret will scream and you will go to the hospital.

Hospital:

Talk to Aunt Judith, make it short and sweet, then turn and find Caroline. She'll be a bitch, and then Damon will show up and offer you a ride home to which Stefan the cute RN will decline for you. Talk to him. Then he'll dismiss you. Click on him again and you can go home.

Home:

You have a strange dream, and then wake up in your room. Click on the dresser next to the floor and find an owl feather. Click on the dresser and find a jewel box that you can't open and a picture Margaret gave to you. Click on the picture, it's important. Exit your room.

When you step out, on the wall, practically across from you is a secrete door. Find the outline or wait until your cursor changes color, and then click on it. Go into the attic and find the mortar and pestle in the chest and some lapis lazuli behind a cat scratching post. Exit the attic.

Go downstairs, read the morning paper under the rug, click on the back wall of the house, turn and find the door beneath the stairs. Go into the closet, click on the Christmas box to find the matches, and the Halloween box to find the black candle. Exit; click on the end table by the door to find the white candle, which serves absolutely no purpose in this game, at all, whatsoever, click on the door to exit.

Mrs. Flowers Boarding House:

Click on the boarding house, click on the shovel. Wasn't too hard, was it?

Mr. Richards House:

Go inside, talk to Bonnie. Yada Yada, leave.

Library:

Go inside, talk to the librarian. Click on the display case catalog of items book on her desk. Click on all the bookshelves carefully. You should find Bonnie's Grandmother's diary, a book on runes, a book on owls, a book on candle making, a book on herbs, a book on druids and a book on the history of Fell's Church.

Exit through the school door, which leads you into the main corridor of the school. Take a close look at the Spirit of Fell's Church display case. Talk to the guard, then leave.

Hospital:

Talk to Aunt Judith; ask her about your jewelry box key, then about Stefan. Go talk to Stefan, doesn't matter what you say or what you don't say. Leave.

Note: It should be dark outside, but if it's not, go home and click on your bed, that will take you into the night.

Night 1:

Graveyard:

Scan around until you find the ruined church, then click on the gatepost and steal the loose chunk of gate.

School:

Unlock the locks on the doors of the main school entrance with the key, go in, turn to the left and enter into the science room. Damon (smith) Salvatore will be there, he will look up at you once, click on the jar to the left of him. If he looks at you twice you're breakfast.

Click on the button to un magnify your view of the jar and you will find yourself between the door and a cabinet. Click on the drawer of the cabinet and you will find the display case key. Exit through the door.

Quickly turn to the display case. Select the key and unlock it, take the hat and exit the school quickly.

Graveyard:

Go back to the graveyard. Enter the church and go up to the altar. Turn to the pretty stained glass picture of an angel holding a key. Click on the key, a secrete compartment will open, now take the key out of the compartment and click on the bench near the altar. Read the book.

Click on the door to the right of the book and go down the stairs. See the coffin that Mrs. Flowers was in at the introduction? Select the fencepost key and insert it into Honoria Fell's (I suppose that's who it is) eye. Stairs are revealed.

Go down the stairs, click on the runes in the middle of the floor, then click on the door opposite of you. Go down the stairs and see the statue of the mother and child. Click on the angel key and insert it into the statue. Go straight through until you see the owl, click on the owl.

Now, click in this order, the flower, the bug, the lizard, the snake and the owl. A book will appear. Write down the order of the runes: Thurisaz, Manaz, Uraz (familiar, no?), the birdfoot rune and Perdho (perthro, whatever).

Exit all the way to the graveyard; examine the graveyard until you come to a tall, white, oblisque. Click on it until you can read the name. Click on it, a ghost will appear, click on the hat and give the hat to the ghost.

Touching scene, then click on the shovel and dig until you get the coins in the skeleton's hand. Exit the graveyard.

Gary Richard's House II:

Click on the right-hand gargoyle. Click on the key in its mouth, and then use the key to get into the house. Go upstairs, click on the bookcase and watch it open. Get the yellow mask and exit said bookcase.

Go to the door next to Bonnie's desk and zoom in, then zoom up. Pull on the rope, which will open the door. Click on the mask, and then click on the floor in front of the door. Now open the door.

Click on the painting, now click on the banister across from you, click on the red dragon in the display case and push it. A door will open to your right.

Click on the door, go down the stairs, and find the display case. Turn until you see the shapes and click them in this order: circle, crescent, triangle, square, star. The case will open and you will grab the dagger and exit the perimeter. You may or may not get caught by Mr. Richards, if you do, simply explain to him to the best of your ability.

By this time it should be morning, if it's not, you know what to do.

Day 2:

The Art Gallery II:

Go in, talk to Caroline for a second. Then talk to Mikhail very briefly. Talk to him again, he'll insult you and you'll trade your gold for his rune. Leave.

Graveyard II:

Find Mrs. Flowers, go talk to her and trade her your mortar and pestle for her vervain. Nothing else useful; leave.

Gary Richard's House III:

Talk to Bonnie, she'll read your runes and then give them to you. Go home.

Home II:

Open your jewelry box, find your class ring. Go to sleep.

Night 2:

Graveyard III:

Go to the graveyard, pass out, and go home.

Home III:

Go to sleep until it's dark.

Night 3:

Graveyard Revisited:

Mrs. Flowers will come wake you up and give you the ring of power. Go to the church in the graveyard, all the way down to the room with the runes. Click on the runes, in this order: Thurisaz, Mannaz, Uraz, birdfoot rune, Perdho (perthro).

Next, click on the candle holder to your left, put the black candle in it, light it and stick the vervain in it.

Now, surprise, surprise, Mikhail will show up. He'll drone on and on and do you get the feeling he's something of a cross between Klaus and Katherine? Anyway, Stefan will show up and attack him, click on the dagger, stick it in the candle. This will engulf him in flames. Click on the ring and stick it into the pillar next to the candle. The building will fall down.

You'll find yourself outside, crying Stefan's name; he'll show up. You can either tell him to come back later, and he'll kiss you and leave. Or you can do the right thing, say you want to be with him always and he'll help you up and bite you. Game over, you win.
