| Happy Birthday to you! |
| Today it's excatly seventeen years to the day you were born. The birth of their first must have been a cause to celebrate for your parents and I can imagine the joy they must have felt that hour of the day or night which brought you into this world. I don't know if it was sunset or sunrise, broad daylight or stark darkness at the time you were born for the obvious reason that you never mentioned it to me. But my guess is that it was either during the early hours of darkness or late at night. It has to be one of these two since you are so fond of working in the quiet and solitude of the night and like to call yourself "nit birdy". Soon after your birth however that initial state of excitement experienced by your parents would've turned into one of extreme helpelessness and annoyance caused due to your incessant crying and whining leading the groups of relatives congregated around your crib to make a hasty departure. See, what a naughty kid you used to be!!! Your relatives must've realized that staying on any longer than they already had in your room which was filled with ear-piercing noise definetly beyond the normal human capacity range could result in a hearing loss problem for them.( Your parents must've been noise proof , I am sure because there is no way they could've dealt with the same problem without being blessed with the ability to block out the never stopping noise made by their one and only son, Shahzaib> THE GREAT!! Now ofcourse you're not the cry baby that you used to be once. You wouldn't even so much as dare to let your parents see a tear in your eyes because it worries them. But it doesn't mean the mischievous nature you were born with has changed or altered for you're still the same old Shazy who as a young toddler broke tantrums and now as an adoloscent in his late teens is no less of a devil always on the look out for some crazy adrenaline rushing fun. Nevertheless I as your friend cann't deny that behind this naughty fun loving Shazy is the sweet natured person who is kind, friendly and caring and today when it's this person's birthday it is cause more than enough for me to celebrate. A virtual B-day celebration should begin with the B-day boy or girl cutting the cake. You might have out grown the age todo this kid's stuff but you're never too old to share the joys of such fun filled moments with your friends, so go ahead, pick up the knife. Oh you already started cutting the cake .. wait , wait ....... blow out the candles first .. Now let us sing: "Happy Birthday to you May you have many more" I didn't bring you a gift or anthing (you're too big for that now ) but there is something else I'd like to give, my birthday wish for you. Here it goes: " May you have all the happiness this day could ever hold, and may the year ahead bring you more wonderfuul times than you can ever imagine" ' |
