Hall of Shame

National Football League defensive end Simeon Rice is most likely celebrating the death of former NFL player Pat Tillman, who was killed in Afghanistan while serving in the United States Army. Tillman, who played with the Arizona Cardinals, decided to turn down a multi-million dollar contract in order to make roughly $18,000 a year to serve his country. As a response to his actions, Simeon Rice said that Tillman wasn't any good as a player anyway. According to Rice, Tillman should have been playing in the XFL (a now-defunct minor football league). As for Tillman's decision to serve his country instead of staying in the NFL, Rice said that Tillman just watched too many Rocky and Rambo movies. My question is this: What did Rice ever do for anyone other than himself? It's no doubt that Tillman is more than a man than Rice will ever be. To be honest, though, it's safe to say that Liberace was more a man than Rice will ever be. I could go on and on about how Rice is complete joke of a human being, but I think that a member of the Arizona Cardinals organization who remained anonymous said it best with, "Who would you rather have in a foxhole with you - Pat Tillman or Simeon Rice?" Enough said.

Scott D. Michalesko, a police officer from Rush Township, in Pennsylvania, used a 15 year-old pet schnauzer named "Whiskers" for target practice. The little dog was walking along the side of the highway after escaping from its home. When it was discovered that Michalesko had shot the pet, he made up a story claiming that the dog had been hit by a car and was suffering, so he put the dog out of its misery after he attempted to find both the owner (by calling the county 911 center) and a veterinarian to assist him. An autopsy by Dr. Richard P. Bindie, Schuylkill Country pathologist, showed that there had been no other trauma to the dog except for the gunshot wound, and recorded tapes from the county 911 center showed that he never attempted to contact the owner. When it was discovered that Michalesko was both a liar and piece of shit, he was suspended by the township supervisors. He then stole the 911 tapes that had been stored at the police station as evidence, hoping that without the proof of his lying, that he wouldn't get in trouble. Now, after it has been shown that Michalesko is both a pussy and a disgrace to an otherwise decent profession, he and his lawyer David B. Washington have decided to fight to get Michalesko's job back. Washington claims that Michalesko's Constitutional rights were violated. I'd be willing to bet that the rights of the Rush Township citizens would be violated more by allowing people such as Michalesko to patrol their streets.
