Dare’s Tractor Production Group
Minutes of Meeting- March 9, 2007 A meeting of the Dare’s Tractor Production Group was held on March 9th, 2007 at the Barnes & Noble Cafe in South Burlington at 7:30 pm Meeting convened at approximately 7:45pm. Present at the meeting were Ellie Bryant, Don McIntyre and Steve Jackson Steve presented the others with proposed Bylaws for their consideration. Steve discussed the formation of the group as a club rather than a formal business entity as was previously discussed. After the group reviewed the Bylaws, Steve proposed that officers be elected. Don McIntyre was elected President. Steve Jackson was elected secretary Ellie Bryant was elected treasurer. Don proposed a change to the Bylaws in Article IX, Section 2. Article IX, Sect. 2 read: “All works created, including written screenplays, scripts, written adaptations, storyboard outlines and drawings, musical scores, artwork, web site designs, DVD recordings, videotape recordings or photographs produced in relation with the project shall become the property of the group with no single member or members claiming exclusive ownership of the work.” Proposed change to read... “The owner of all works or assets contributed to the project shall retain all rights to the work or asset unless the executive committee unanimously approves ownership of the work and no works or assets will become owned by the group unless permission is granted by the owner of the work”. The proposed change was accepted unanimously. Article IX, Section 1 was also changed in the process of changing Section 2 Section 1 formerly read, “The group will own no assets unless unanimously approved by the executive committee unless otherwise included in the bylaws. Article IX, Section 1 now reads, “ The group will own no assets unless unanimously approved by the executive committee. Don proposed that Article X, Section 2 be amended to include the title “Musical Director” to the list of Production Team Members. The proposal was accepted unanimously. (Note: Section 3 will need amendment as a result.) A note was made that Don will be unavailable to attend a meeting from April 3rd until ?? Ellie will be unavailable to attend a meeting from March 21-24. Steve will be unavailable from March 23 – 24th It was agreed that the next meeting would be held on Monday, March 19th at Ellie Bryant’s condo in Burlington. The address is 122 Maple Street.
