Parker came into our lives in August of 1996. My mom found him in the parking lot of where she worked. She brought him home and we decided that Parker should be his name because of where he was found. Parker was always a cat that loved affection. Eventually he attached himself to my brother. Wherever my brother is, Parker is right behind him. He goes crazy when my brother is not at home, running around and Meowing loudly. He loves strangers. When new people come over he is right there wanting attention. He has even been known to jump right into people's arms from the floor or a table!
Parker also has a sweet tooth. When he was a kitten my brother was eating marshmallows. We thought it would be fun to give him one to see what he did with it. As soon as my brother gave it to him he took off with it in his mouth! At the time he was so little that the marshmallow was almost as big as his head! Afterward he just licked it and ate a few pieces of it. After that he came to love marshmallows. He likes all sweet things. He even attacked a box of donuts once.
Parker also used to be playful. He had a toy that looked like a marshmallow with feathers on both sides. Eventually he ate the feathers but the marshmallow toy was on an elastic string and my brother would swing it and parker would jump so high! He did flips and somersaults! Parker lost the marhmallow toy one day and we could not find another like it. He wouldnt play with much else so eventually he became fat and lazy like most cats do when they get older.
