Welcome to Miro Zalesak's re-designed site for the 2001-02 Season! Miro is now in his second professional season and has made the move with the Sharks' AHL Affiliate from Lexington, KY to Cleveland, Ohio, where the tradition of the Cleveland Barons has been re-born. It was a very sad off season, as Miro lost, not only a teammate, but a best friend, as sadly, Zoltan Batovsky lost his life in a traffic accident in Austria. To commemorate the life of Zoltan, Miro has switched his jersey number to 20, which was Zoltan's number in Junior, and the Barons will wear Zoltan's #8 on their jerseys all season long. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Zoltan's friends and family, as he will be sorely missed.
